Default Hurst shifter question

I am thinking about buying a short shift shifter such as the Hurst shifter.
However, I like the stock shift handle and would like to use the stock handle instead
of the handle that comes with the Hurst shifter. From what I can tell from the pictures,
it does not look like you can put the stock handle on the Hurst shifter.
I saw 1 post that says that you can put the stock stick on the Hurst shifter, but it does not
look like you can do it to me.
Has anyone done this?
If you can't use the stock handle on the Hurst shifter, has anyone put it on
a Pro 5 shifter or any other after market short shift shifter?

Thanks

No you wouldn't be able to use the factory **** for two reasons:
1- You can't swap the stock shifter stick with Hurst handle.

2- If you were to swap just ****'s the boot wouldn't be long enough to cover the Hurst stick with the factory handle.

I have installed a pro 5 shifter and yes I am using the stock handle. I love the shifter and would recommend it over the hurst but then again I have never used the hurst. If you need more information let me know.

Thanks for the info Homer.
I followed your origonal post on the Pro 5 shifter. I plan on buying a shifter in the next few weeks.
I may get the pro 5, but it is a lot more money than the Hurst shifter.
