i brought this topic up last year. i dont hate on people that make their car look like something its not but it is pretty annoying. thats one of the reasons i kept my stock rear bumper cover and just cut out the notch for my duals. didnt want anyone that was familiar with stangs to think that it was a GT. no offense to those of you who sport a GT bumper.

psh....its just a look. I like the more aggressive look of it. It also covers up the mufflers on the bottom and gives it a unique look. I say my cars a six although it doesnt look stock at all.

People don't know what my car is, and that works for me despite the tri-bar running pony fender emblems, the 4.0 emblem or the "Forced6" license plate. Lately, people have asked me how I like my GT500. Guess the legend spoiler and center fogs throw them off. And one of the guys who congratulated me on my GT500 was a S197 GT owner. But it was cool, I explained to him what I had, pointed out the badges, complimented him on his nice looking white GT.

I will go with a CAI and a 91 tune sooner or later. But would never dream of GT badges.
I'm looking for 428CJ badges. ha ha just kidding. Stock tri bar ponies for me and single exhaust.
