So I was driving around the other day and I saw an 04 Mustang, nice body kit, GT emblems all over it, only problem was it wasn't a GT. no the dude still had his stock V6 muffler on it, with the GT bumper. so dual exits without the dual exhaust. I just shook my head. So my question to everyone is how many of you Rep your 6? Let people know you drive a V6 and not a GT. Whether it be by ur license plate, like Fazm, or a 4.0 Emblem like Rygen. I'm just curious to see whos got what? Post pics if you have.

Best believe I rep mine around here in east mesa. I keep it looking asstock as the day it came off the lot.

 

I am just waiting for a couple more mods and then I am gonna order my 4.0 badges. I have to represent, I love this car. It has enough power for me...but I am on a three year plan for more....that is after my extended warranty wears out...

 

i got the same tal covers as u buy they dont fit flush..how does ur fit...they look good, i need no sticky 2 sided velcrow **** to put mine back on thier not sticky enuogh anymore oafter taking them off, advice?

 

I wouldn't do that to my V6. It's like putting Roush badges on a GT. But some think there fooling people. Hey I'm gonna have a lot of fun with my car over time but I won't ever try to make people think it's a V8. Wish I could make it sound like one though.

 

mine don't fit flush either. they came wit that velcro thing as well and i have had mine on for about two years so I actually had to put new 3M double sided tape on them cuz it came off. I had to shave the blackout panel a little as well because it pushed it in. I bought the decal one but am leery about putting it on. but the only thing i can suggest is get new tape and take the old tape off. thats what i did. cuz like you said after taking the covers off the velcro thats stuck to the taillight housing starts to come off a little.

 

first of all i love ur grill with the fogs, how much and does it come with everything and where do i get it installed? 2 can i order a prepainted black hood scoop..and do i get gloss black? alsoooo, how color spoiler is urs , gloss black? who painted it, how much, i need details...after the rim install i wanna get a drop suspension orrrrrrrrrrrrr black fule door and get the front head light covers and put the rear ones on fix em up ...then the hood scoop in black...let me know what i should do next? whats ur aim btw, we gotta talk! i dont know anyone on her that has a perf white sixer doing the black and white theme, im "optical veracity" on aim

I rep mine by having the original pony emblems and the corraled pony grille plus it's obvious it's a 6 with duals to anyone who knows what they are hearing when I blow by them ;-).
I'm thinking of adding 4.0 emblems either above or below the pony emblems after I install an x-charger.
I am thinking about having a custom 4.0 S/C emblem made though. Might look pretty cool!
If I finally decide to add a fako hood scoop, I might have it decaled the same way. 4.0 SC or something like that.
Maybe 4.0 X/C might look cool too if the font is trick lookin enough.
I'm also going to add on some other perosnalized trick looks but I'll save that for another thread.
So I'm reppin,,,testifyin, whatever ;]. Yeah I got a V6 Pony, what about it? ;p

 

keepin it single exhaust and lookin stock all the way through. Wolfey have you thought about getting a 4.0 high performance badge, buying one of the 5.0 supercharged badges, and cutting the supercharged/high performance parts off and switching them? it would match up perfectly and would likely be cheaper than getting one custom made.

 

Like someones like wow i saw your car yesterday it looks sick..Is that the gt or something.... (proudly) No, Its a v6 . Fast as hell though..See if people think about saying one thing, just ask what they drive and say pshhh. And unless you get someone with a gt thats blatantly an a-hole, they'll respect the car as well. This kid's dad has an old gt350 and gt500 and hes trying to get a gt500 new but p-oed about markup.
