GT H pipe

If I bought a 05 GT mustangH pipe.........what else would else would I need to do or buy other than the H pipe, midpipes and brackets to convert to dual exhaust? My fiancee's dad does a lot of welding so that will help. Has anyone in here used the factory GT h pipe? How hard was it to get it to fit right?

I'm installing one saturday. I've been told its a direct fit...just have to cut existing y pipe then of course add a drivers side midpipe/muffler.

I'm interested in this as well. We got an H pipe for my moms 3.8 where we could throw any 5.0 exhaust on it and it would fit. I was curious if they made something like that for our engine.

I might as well just say. lol. I bought a stock GT H pipe. I bought the drivers sidemid pipe and all i need now are the brackets........(expensive little suckers). I just kinda wanted to know if anyone has done this before and how they did it......or if there is a write up anywhere,
