Anyone know a place on long island that I can buy, a shaker hood system, and have it installed? Does pepboys have them?

where on long island are you from? check out mustang magic, they are a mustang performance center and could probably do anything you want. do a search for them on google.

Been thinking about this myself.....................I've heard it not too difficult to do with the proper tools and know how.

Im also thinking about buying a GT500 bumper, and then putting the shaker system on it. I think that would look pretty cool.

I have the rear if you check my sig....the front I would have gotten but its 1400 unpainted.....with paint and installation I just didnt have 2 grand. Remember its not simply a bumper change...its 2 new grilles, 2 fogs, 2 headlights, a chin spoiler, foam isolators, wheel well covers and wiring harness'

mustang magic wont touch it unless its a gt or special stang... riverhead ford seems to always get shakers and stuff... maybe try there or buy it else where online and have any body shop install it for u

y wont they touch it?? I saw some kid at pep boys who got exhaust put on by them for his 03 v6.

Yeah, I have all the part numbers for the GT500 front end, I'm going to see if its cheaper for that or the front end of the parnelli jones BOSS 302. Then I'd put the shaker on w/ the 302 plate on it like the PJ's.


I'm not putting the shaker on until june, and I probably won't put the new front end on till next year so I have time to decide and find a place.

I dont think they are going to sell the pjones parts.

was told awhile back that they didnt touch anything but gts and svts and stuff. could be wrong of course though, lol
