looking to buy a tuner, just wondering if i should go for Diablo Sport, or Superchips.
and would it matter if it was used or not?

I would ignore both of those and get an SCT XCAL II with a good tune. For any tuner buying them used is a risk because you have to be certain the original owner flashed his ECU back to the stock tune or the tuner will not work on your car. All of these tuners run between $350-400 but it is the best initial performance investment you can make.
