Holding the brake down and revving to 3k is difficult in my auto, she creeps unless you start spinning them.

Hopefully Rygen sees this, I'm sure he could tell you his technique..

if experimented for a little while with this. The best launch ive gotten so far is, brake torque it, rev it to about 2300 then let it loose. tires dont even squeak. Like tedbalog said tho. message rygen. im sure he would help you out.

Be sure to take off the TCS/ABS, if so equipped. Avoid the water box if using street tires.

With a 93 tune, C&L intake, and GT mufflerin my 4.0L/auto vert, I ran a 15.0. I was slower if I powerbraked it - poor traction (pegleg). You'll have to try different launch techniquies to see what works best for you.

If your stock with no tune and its an 05 you should be able to press the gas to the floor and press the brake down and not break loose. then just release the brake and go.

def. shut the tcs off and hold to about 2500-3000 then launch it, if you dont have a tune you can try manually shiftin the auto.

I would def. pm Rygen or Fazm, they both know how to get down the track.
Like 28Hop stated, turn off tcs, avoid the water if you are on street tires.
Also you probably want to turn off the overdrive, you will probably want to be trapping in 4th.
I wouldn't manually shift the auto, let it do the work for you.
I am launching about 1800, but could probably go to 2000-2100 maybe.

I don't have near the power buckman does but I found that 2000rpm works best for me.
OD off and TCS off as well..
