Oh man.

Here's a story about being careful when you pull into your garage.

Be carefull when you pull into your garage! I usually am, but today, I didn't cut the wheel right.I scrubbed my rear passenger-side fender against the side of the garage when I pulled into it this afternoon. Got a dent and some missing paint for that one.

Man, I'm bummed. Not looking forward to taking it to a body shop. I'm hoping it would cost between $200-$300 to repair and paint the fender.

I agree. If the bodyshop you go to is anything like the one I went to (at my Ford dealer) after a little scrape, bend over and clench your teeth. My front bumper cover repaint ran me something like $700. Did you scrape the rim as well?

I got this fixed for $200 because I knew the guy...Heres some pics so you can compare the amout of damage. I got the dent fixed and most of the fender repainted.

I just got back from one body shop, the guy said he'd charge me $500, because you have to paint the whole back half of the car. He also said I'd lose the stripes that run along the bottom of the car, I said that would be fine, take off the ones on the driver side too!

was it the fender as well? or just bumper?
