I have had the same problem with my 06 V6 Pony. About 6 months ago the dealer said there was nothing wrong. Because they could not duplicate it, but it does nto happen all the time.
So now, when I get off the highway, I stop about 2 car lengthsbehind another car. Then I give it alittle gas- then stop again behind the next car. This seems to work, and I do not know why.

Please let me know what your dealer tells you.

Jodie, SOHCman,
My dealer drove my car for three hours and could not duplicate problem. They called the Ford tech's and they are not aware of this problem because nobody (dealers) is calling them about this. Please pester your dealers about this problem. Mine said he would watch TSB's and upgrades for me. Good luck and if I find anything out I will post it in the forum.

I've been pestering them for 40,000 miles.

I'm thinking it's either the design of the fuel system or we found the exact vibration frequency that airates the fuel into bubbles.

I may have my fuel filter replaced (I can only expect it to be $100+

Nothing is cheap when the dealer does it.

SOHCman, your dealer is not calling Ford, that's the problem. Ford does not know this problem exist. I have heard of changing the fuel cap from a auto parts store. I will try this next as it has something to do with pressure, not exactly sure how this works but it's worth a try. Good luck and let me know if changing the filter helps. I will do likewise.

OK

My PYPES have shipped!!

4/12

So I should get them this coming week.

I quick trip to the dealer and they will go in.

And the GT bumper if I don't get a chance to put it on first.

And the filter.

And an oil change.

And a new set of shoes.

Last time I had an oil change, they said they weren't down enough.

Melted this set down to the wear bars finally.

I pestered the dealer for months, and my dealer is right across the street from where the Mustang is built in Flat Rock Michigan. You think they would get on the ball and do something. But I will callthem again.

Hey Dreamer & Jodi,

You will NEVER guess what happened!

I don't have the hesitation anymore! Zero! Nada!

Ever since I put the FULL DUALS on, it has never bogged down a single time!!

I just spent the last 4 days cruisin' low and slow (and sometimes fast & furious) and not once did it even slightly hesitate!

Maybe the vibration from the new Pypes setup keeps the fuel lines clear of bubbles?

Maybe the new Pypes setupreduces the amount of back pressure that was adversely effecting performance?

I even get better gas mileage now!

Check out my videos of my pipes setup below.

I think we solved it.
