pretty much, im sick of driving an auto and i finally talked my mom into letting me own a manual... how much and what all would i need for this swap? trans, clutch, clutch pedal, (is the clutch on the 05 and up hydraulic?) etc etc?

It is probably cheaper to just trade your car in for one with a manual instead of all the work and time.

It would be insanely expensive to switch over to manual. Not worth the money. If you must have one you will need to make a deal with Ford to trade for another Stang.

By the way I have an automatic. I'm really happy with it.You'll probably just get yourself in more trouble with a stick and the cost of replacing the clutch after 70 or 80k, nah.......

Ya it's a BIG swap in a newer car. Not just the drivetrain but computer etc.Wasn't so bad 40 years ago. Like someone said do a trade or wait a couple years for the new 2010 model and get the manual then.

your best bet is to trade it in. swappin out into a different transmission will run you a few thousand dollars.
