was th 245/50/16 a bit large for the V6 rim ? That's almost 1.5 inches larger than the rim !

Well how wide you can go depends on the hight aspect 45 50 60, the taller the tire the wider you can go without wearing funny, I had 265 60 16's and they were fine on the 7' stock wheels, I like the 285 60 16's on the 8' wheels better. 383

Whatbrand tire did you get in a 265/60r16?
I am definitely going that route when it's time to replace the stock ones.
And what size would you recommend for a skinny type tire in the front?

bout to wake the dead but better than starting a new thread...
where are you guys finding these fat tire sizes?
are they street tires or just drag?
tire rack says the widest tire is a 235/60R16

its not, that is my point. but that was about the widest tire that tire rack would show.
