My car is 2005 Mustang V6. I ordered a locking gas cap brand Motocraft FC 1005 . To my surprise, it does not fit my car. I don't know what is wrong. You have any idea, please tell me.

Arelatively cheap way of reducing the risk of havinghis gas siphoned.[sm=smiley20.gif]

the last thing on these cars you have to worry about is people stealing gas, the filler tube goes down, back up along the body then finally down to the tank and the tank itself has an anti syphone mechanism in it which is what caused most of the 05 mustang filling problems. i wouldnt worry too much about it personally.

I bought a locking cap because I am afraid of some bad persons will pour something like wine, sand ...in the gas tank and it destroys my car. I park my car in streets, not in garage. I read in this forum horrible stories that some cars were poured beer in by bad persons.
