Finally gave in
there is absolutely no way, none, zero, chance that you could walk in and get a dealership to pay you more in cash for a used vehicle then you spent innitially.
Maybe, if you were trading it in and were getting totally screwedon the purchase of another car.
Maybe.

No way that car could cost less than a modded GT! I don't believe it. Anyways, I'd rather save and buy the Challenger even if it will be more expensive. It's going to be more rare and worth more than the Camaro. And it looks better and more original IMO.

It's hard to believe that a dealership with all their '07s on the lot would pay you $19,000 for your 2006. It sounds fishy to me.
Heck the sticker price on my car was $22,650....but I paid around $19,000 for it in cash...it's got 1000 miles on it now....I love to drive it, but I ain't in no hurry to trade or sell it.
Well have to see what the 2009 Mustangs have to offer.

Iwas about to trade my 07 with 2K miles on an 07vert GT, until they offered me 14.5K for it...had to tell the dealer to go take an aeronautical intercourse..ie to go take a flying f@#k......
