Default RE: 87 octane tune

On the pinging issue running a higher tune than the gas in the tank...Yes it can, but so far my mixed tank octanes havent pinged that I could tell. i am also running copper stock plugs (Autolite 5143). They help detonation problems. Brenspeeds 87 tune is fairly conservation timing 0-2000RPM where most of my driving is done. I have changed tunes with half tanks Up and down and run the lower tune till the low 87 half is "gone" before upping the tune to 91 and dropping the tune asap from 91 to 87 with the fillup of 87 octane till the higher is used up. It wont hurt anything to run a lower tune than the gas in the tank (other than running a little worse) till the tank is stable with the target octane. Hope that makes sense.
