Default GT Takeoff Mufflers

I'm interested in purchasing these mufflers and having custom pipes installed to them. How much on average would this cost? And has anyone done this in here?

people say H for sound X for performance, though consensus seems to be that the perforance difference between the two is very small. I go an H by the way. I bought a H gt take off and had the shop cutoff the cats and weld behind myV6cats.

I just had my duals put on today w/GT take-offs & X-pipe. I love the sound, not loud at idle, but nice and throaty during acceleration. Don't know what the hp/trq gain was for sure, but I can definitely feel a difference.

Peace!
Scott

agreed.... same thoughts with H. After you install unhook the battery for 20 minitues this resets the comp or something, really improved the sound and tQ returned after I did this

Ummm, I don't see the need to unhook the battery for any reason. Is there something I missed?

Peace!

Yeah sounded funny to me too, but when I initially jumped in the car and drove home from the shop it seemed like a lost a lot of TQ and the sound was not really that different. I then unhooke the battery when I got home and took it for a spin again. TQ was back to normal and sound was improved....maybe Im crazy but I thought there was a definate difference. The next day I added a CAI and tune, which also made it sound much better and TQ increase was very noticable.
