electronics
Hey guys, I am getting a new Black AT Mustang v6 hopefully in the next couple days and having been looking at what I want get. Anything cool electronics wise I can do with the car? Someone told me there is such thing as a suspension/spring set that is adjustable via electronics in the car so you do not have to get out and adjust. Would be nice to raise and lower from winter/summer season. Also, i heard there was an HID option where you can increase/decrease the brightness from the inside of the car? Just some rumors i heard. I am planning on doing the start ignition button mod as well. Just wondering if you guys know of any little cool things i can do. Maybe automatic opening doors from the key fob? I am up to any ideas, just planning ahead

RE: electronics
i'm sure you can go to a customizing shop and do all of that, but realize that does add weight to the car and if you plan on racing it, it will lag. if it's going to be a show car go for it. with the amount of stuff you are going to put in your car, i would have bought a GT, but thats just me haha

RE: electronics
I haven't bought it yet, but am buying the v6 because of a few reasons.. insurance is much lower on the v6 for me and I do not plan on racing. I may add a few performance mods for my enjoyment, but as of now I am working on appearance
also, is there any shifters that will be available for the AT other then the B&M one? I'm not a fan of the look of this one. And how does manual shifting work on this car with the AT? on the rx-8 i first was planning on getting, there was a shiftronic feature on the wheel, thought it was pretty cool.

you should be able to put your shifter all the way down into first gear. you may need to push that shift lock button if you have it. if not, maybe the brake? then it should just slide up...but watch out for those. on my old car i had that and i was messing around and went from 1st to 3rd, and i lost all the momentum i had in the car.
