drove from Hartford CT to Springfield Ma. on rte 91 at 65 -70 mph and got 29.8 mpg w/o cruise control. I was totally surprised that it was that high.

I went from Louisville, KY to Orlando, FL and back and got 27.8 mpg bone stock. From Louisville to Bowling Green, KY about 260mi round trip, I got about 24.5 mpg but in the cars defense that was at 80-85 mph the whole way there and back to the NMRA World Finals

I got 29.5mpg highwayBuffalo to Boston and back, 900+miles with the cruise set at 75mph.Worked out to around 380 miles on a tank, bone stock 5sp. Not bad considering how much fun these cars are to drive.
I used to average right around there when my car (5-spd too) was almost stock. Now with the blower, gears, wider tires, etc I've traded in some MPG for extra fun, but I'm still getting 25-26 on the highway. Good enough.

I can't imagine driving like I own a Toyota for an entire tank of gas just to find out what kind of mileage I could get.

32ish highway and 24ish town............. depending. Thats with me being nice. When i drive like a nut and do stupid stuff then its around 19-20 in town. Kinda fun to play "how fast can we get to the posted speed after a stop"

I got 45mpg on my way back from Prescott here in AZ. But that's b/c I had it in Neutral most of the time (down down the mountainI went) hahaha. On the way there I got around 23mpg.

City is 12-14mpg, hwy is 29-31mpg running a 93 tune & premium. Hit the 24,000 mile mark this week. Planning on 4:10 gears this spring so the hwy numbers should drop a bit.

We used to get 33-35 mpg tankful after tanful.
Then we got the Mustang.
Best tank yet hasn't been over 22mpg.
I find it very hard to believe some of your claims.
