Default Next Move.

Check the sig.

I'm looking into my next performance mod.

7.5 rear built up with 3.73+Tlok?

GT take off 8.8 Rear axle?

Borla Stingers n mac shorty headers? (more sound than performance)

UDP?

lower suspension+strut tower brace?

lighter wheels with wider tires?

Not sure where to do next...

I think 3.73s and t-lok would be the next logical step. You already have a good exhaust set up, since GT takeoffs net decent gains, so the only plus on changing the exhaust would be sound. The gains from headers are minimal. Gains from UDPs are minimal. You already have decent rims and tires. I don't have gears or t-lok, but I've read nothing but positives.

Gears and t-lok if you want something that will make the car perform.

gears and detroit true trac....screw the t-lok

if i was you, i'd just get the 8.8 takeoff with 3.55 gears......3.73s are unncessary IMO for a DD that is sometimes used at the track. With gears and install, it'd almost be cheaper to go with the 8.8 or jsut a tad more

actually, the 8.8 is a lot heavier than the 7.5, and there is absolutely no use for the 8.8 if you are not planning on running a lot of power. it will just weigh you down

In regards to the 8.8 rear...
It would almost be cheaper for me to do that.

would that extra weight in my axle help in the winter?

Or is this something I'm going to regret when I decide to start shedding weight?

Very interesting point..
If I go forced induction in the future, either Paxton or Vortech, Is it worth going to a 8.8" rear now?
It is a daily driver, and will remain that way for a long time, 50 miles per day minimum.

Also..
Dont forget that you are getting bigger brakes by switching to an 8.8 as well.
