I'm about to get a tuner/intake combo and im not very familiar with the way a tuner actually works. Ive done all the research on the forums and i think im getting an xcal2 but i just wanna no what exactly it does and what the different tunes do...thanks for the help

it basically changes the codes in your car's comptuer.

it would change the air/fuel ratio, timing and all sorts of other stuff. basically your car is controlled by a computer to run at lets say 50% of peak. the tuner would change the configurations to allow it to run at a higher peak.
