Just leased my stang!!!!!
'07 PP tungston grey 5 spd manual!!! hell yah!!! Its great!
Anyone know if I put a new muffler on, if i can just take it off and put the old one on, before i turn my lease in?

Sure you can put a new muffler on it and put the old one back on before you turn it in at the end of your lease. You might like it so much that you buy it when the lease is over. How much a month did you save by leasing over buying? I replaced the muffler on my 2006 Tungsten Grey V6 coupe on my way home from the dealer. I put a Flowmaster on but my wife thought it was too loud so I have replaced it with a single GT takeoff. I may install the other GT takeoff in the future. If you are looking for a replacement mufflerI got a pair of GT takeoffs on e-bay for $45 plus $30 shipping.

When you lease, all your doing is buying down what the car will be worth (retail) when you turn it in. At that point you should be able to walk onto thelot and pay the same for any Mustang of same year and model. If you elect to buy your monthly payment will be more than the lease payment was and you could just lease a brand new one cheaper...

well its a 2 yr lease so i saved a hell of alot, I pre paid $7,500 for the 2 yrs and it woulda been like $19,997 lol and i really would like to buy it when the lease is done. I love it !!!

You just prepaid $312 per month against the lease.

What do you mean it would have been 19,997 is that the price of the car? If so you could have put down 7500 and took a loan for say 12,500 at 6.5% for 5 years and your payment would have been around $250

yeh....never do downpayments on leases. because if you total the car...that money goes in the tank.
Also..how much are your payments?
I'm paying 340 for 5 years on my car and thats with nothing down not even tax and a 6/75k mile extendo

i payed 7500 prepaying the lease but i dont have 250 a month now to pay. I can purchase the car for 13000 when my 2yr is done. so i will deal with a loan then. as of now my cash is straight gone.
