Default Rice muffler

I was chilling at a mall (outdoor) tonight with some of my friends, and a 05+ black stang drove by with some kids blastin music. He had some muffler on that he was makin a RACKET with, but it sounded identical to the sound produced by the 1985 VW jetta with a fartcan right behind him. Any idea what exhaust this may be? I couldnt catch a real great view, but it had a huge tip, and was not oval-shaped, like an MRT, looked exactly like stock, but not black like flows.

yea this was pretty ridiculous, he probably never went past 3K on the RPMS, but i described this poorly - it was not a round muffler like MRT, it looked like a regular stock one, witha huge chrome tip.

There is a universal muffler I have seen at some parts stores that are advertised as "Sport Mufflers" and such. They are designed for the low-budget ricer tuner (I know from personal experience, still in therapy for it). From your description of the the sound, this sounds like what he had on his car.
