Anyone know how much HP our stock clutches will take?

From reading posts by the F/I folks here they kinda top out and run around 300-425HP with stock clutch and no reported problems that I've seen. after that the Transmission is the problem not the clutch....Im sure racing shops will gladly sell you a higher end bullet-proof clutch if you think it might fail...

 

i have 410rwhp but i started to lose the stock clutch at 212rwhp.

i installed the stage 3 spec clutch before i went 410rwhp.

i havent seen anyone break 400rwhp with the stock clutch.

 

How did you keep tires on that thing!...LOL

 

what ya mean? ive gone through 3 sets of dr's and im on a set of slicks now lol
