The tab is for the large cupholder to the rear. It is in that little middle slot inbetween the cupholders. Will come in very handy when I have a large drink.

Ok everyone, first off thanks for all of the information and pics you all gave me on where this tab would be.....but i figured out why i couldnt find this....my cupholders came with the one smaller and shallower holder, and one larger and deeper, i have no tab or piece that comes out....my car was the showroom model when i bought it, so im assuming something happened to it, or was missing when i bought it, i really dont mind it being gone, but its good to know that it is......

lol wow....i thought everyone knew about that, there isnt anything else on the stang someone wouldnt have noticed by now is there? like a button for the trunk that you dont need your keys for? lol

I love these little "hidden secrets" ... I'm going to go check mine out right now. Wow, I haven't been this excited since the post about removing two ribs so you can reach back foryour seatbelt easier!
