Default In case you were not aware

There is a false bottom on the cup holder closest to you, once you remove the false bottom the hole becomes twice as big!

Just thought I would share as 2 of myfriends have had their Stangs for over 1 year and had not noticed.

Dont understand. What cup holder closest to who?
Mine are inline front to back. Both are close to me.

if you look down on the cup holder you will notice a small tab, pull it and it will come out.

just checked it out and that is awesome, great for gatorade or any type of bottles. I always wondered what that tab was for and now i do.[/align]Thanks[/align]

I have not looked at the Mustang yet, as I am in Cleveland, and my Mustang is back in Kentucky but my 2006 Pontiac G6 is the same. There is an insert that comes out to make the cup holders larger. Thanks for the tip and I will check the Mustang when I get home.
