rear spoiler
My new 07 has the flat rear spoiler... any ideas on where to pick up the ones they put on the GT or even the stock V6 one that isn't flat?? I looked at quite a few websites...but I'm not a huge fan of the aftermarket spoiler's price tags.

RE: rear spoiler
What color and where are you located. I'd happily trade you my GT spoiler in new orleans if yours is black. With a name like boudreaux, I figure there's a good shot you're from my neck of the woods.

RE: rear spoiler
Im 99.9sure the mounting holes are the same on the flat as the GT. I have '07 PP Alloy, and wasnt all that impressed with my flat spoiler at first. I must admit the thing has grown on me, it just flows with the car

I used to live over that way, but I am in Austin now.
As far as the color goes - - mine is as close to black as you can get - - it's the Alloy color (really dark grey). Thanks for the offer though!!

You can get the GT one there and choose the color of your car. Shipping cost is pretty fair too and I've had no problems with them.

Igot something like this: http://stores.ebay.com/autowingandsp...QQftidZ2QQtZkm
It's about the same as newtakeoff, I think.
The holes match up - no problem putting the new spoiler on.
My problem was in taking off the Pony Package spoiler. They use a lot of double-sided tape to keep the flat spoiler on, and it's not as simple as unscrewing the four nuts. I've heard of people using either hot or cold, but most have reported good results using fishing line to "saw" through the tape.
Unfortunately, none of those things worked for me. At the point where I broke the fishing line for the zillionth time, I finally got mad enough that I pushed until it popped off. But, my point is, it will come off - even if it seems impossible.
After I got the spoiler off, I got another unpleasant surprise - the old spoiler had been rubbing against the trunk lid. Even though I had about 2,000 mile son the car, the paint had worn down to the primer. I was disappointed, but felt lucky that it was discovered before it started rusting.
