yeah WD-40 is great to have around when detailing, it cleans metal great. Take a WD-40 soaked rag and wipe the inside of your wheel wells, itmakesthen new looking and when you wash it again the dirtcomes off real easy like.

Take a heat gun, mine is wagner power stripper, evenly heat up the decal and soon you will see it raise a little and you can easily peel it off by hand. Then to remove the residue you could use goo gone, but everyone doesnt have goo gone laying around, but everyone has WD-40. Put WD-40 on a rag and it will remove the residue with ease.
If you are among the WD-40-deprived unfortunates of the world, and Goo-gone never got there, a little Spray-n-wash will apply its biologically sophisticated enzymatic action and with a little soak and a little wipe, will take the stickum off.

Somewhere there is a Web site with thousands of uses for WD-40. I know of a woman who has had excellent relief from arthritic pains in her hands. (turns out there are many sites with "unofficial" uses)
