I have a 06 v6 and I recently bought a decal for the third brake light, however the third brake light doesn't light up. I was wondering what the reasons for this could be or if there was something else I needed to do to make it light up. Also is the **** that turns the lights on and off supposed to light up?

 

if it dont light uyp when your brakes are applied or lights are on the bulb is blown so you have to replace it.

 

I have a really funny feeling that your standing in the back of your car with your lights on and its not workin....get someone to press the brake. If not then look at the above post.

 

yea thats what i was think but i couldnt rememberif it came onw ith lights or not so i threw that in there to be safe.

 

haha i did that first but then i had my friend push the brake so im gonna assume it's the bulb, thanks for all the help

 

There is more than one bulb in the 3rd brake light. If it don`t work, check the wiring.
