Default accident stories...

So how many of have been in an accident w/ your 05+ mustang? What happened?

I've had my 06 V6 since march of 06. In October I was hit by a Semi on the expressway. He just turned into my left rear and and spun me out of control. It was 9 pm and raining hard. I ended up hitting the right median facing traffic. I wasn't hit by anyone else, but the Semi drove off. To this day I am still just a tad upset. My second time happened in february of 07. It snowed alot and then the temperature went up and melted all the snow, then it had gotten cold again. I was on a twisting road coming off the expressway and lost control. I hit the same rear section of the car again. Once again no one else hit me and I was unharmed. My car is completed stock, but has every option. It's a V6 premium w/ pony package. That twisty road has been a big problem for me though. The car slides alot when that road gets wet. I don't drive fast either, I just like the sound of the engine. I mainly have mine for show, not for racing. I do drive safe, but I also need winter tires. So, that's my story.

About 3 weeks after i got my Stang, i was coming home from work one night around 4 AM, i had been workin two jobs, and had been at work since about 8 AM the day before, so i was really tired, and this cars drivers seat is much more comfortable than my previous cars, fell asleep at the wheel, when i woke up, i was about 10 feet away from a road sign with a wooden base. I had jus enough time to swerve and not hit it square on, but still took it out and messed up the right front quarter panel. So my first $1600 in mods, was all in body repairs. Just thank God i didnt hurt myself or anyone else.

Yeah being tired can be pretty bad. A couple weeks after I got my car, i worked a 14 hour day, drove an hour home, and was so tired I forgot to set my e-brake. My car rolled into a pickup but not fast enough to do any damage
