SOHC, if you dont mind me asking where did you get your pypes at, and how much did they cost? Also hat is the difference between the street pro and the violater muffler?
I got mineright from Pypes.

Unlike a lot of stories I've heard, I had zero problems with fit or finish. Buy from the lowest price vendor and you get "seconds"..

About $440 complete, "X" pipe, mid pipes, mufflers w/ 4" tips and all the clamps and hangers...

Don't buy from RPM Outlet.

BAD things happen to good people who go there if you look atthe feedback on the boards...

The Street Prosare way loud enough, I can't imagine how loud the Violators are...

LOL

I have the MRT AeroTurbine, and I like it. Some are annoyed by the drone, but I personally couldn't be happier with it. I probably wouldn't go duals with it, though, if I was going to go that route.

The other ones that I've heard that sound good are the JBA axle back and MRT Max Thunder.

The MRT max thunder sounds really good. if u have cats, if u dont, dont go with mrt at all. Flowmaster is always a safe choice IMO, and magnaflow actually makes a dual kit for the v6 if that is the route u plan on going.

just wondering about something....

I did the ninosports dual conversion (Y to Y) and have the GT Takeoffs... I like them, but I want louder. Do you think the Pypes or the Flowmasters would still sound good without the X or the H pipes? I will shoot myself if my car ends up sounding ricey.....!!!!

Although if you think about it - - wouldn't a Y in and a Y out be just like a stretched out X??

But with the same minimum diameter as the stock exhaust.

Pypes would definitely sound louder than GT mufflers, even with Ys.

Duals are better.

Performance is about the same as a good low restriction single.

Can't beat the look of duals.

PS: I have the Pypes "true duals"
