hmmm so that makes them completely legal. That's interesting i wouldnt think they would be legal. Why does no car come like that from the factory??? it looks awesome.

 

Sorry I didn't check in for a while, lots of questions. First thanks for the compliments. The install is really easy; they just clip in. The lenses come with the amber lights for the front and red ones for back. Got 'em off Ebay as a set for about 50 bucks.

 

Well at least for the MKV VW Jetta, the clear side markers are a pretty popular mod even with those who are in Cali so I would definately assume they are legal there.

 

Just emailed to find out if legal in AR, will post when get reply. Think they will look sweet with what I want to do with mine.

I have smoke lenses on my Harley but the bulbs are amber. I live in Cali and have had no problem with cops.

I love the clear corners on the car. I just bought the amber bulbs for up front. I just seen a widevil blue with clears and they look good to be honest I haven't seen a color that makes you scratch your head and wonder if they belong.
Even if you get a ticked for these it will be a fix it ticket and you can just put in stock ones for a few days.
