What about no Pipes, No mufflers and no cats....Just headers out of the engine to the bottom and stop them there

someone here has electric cutouts i beleive, that's pretty much what just headers would sound like.

Sounds pretty cool ... but would lose it's novelty after a few days ... has to be loud and annoying inside the car for sure ...

Is that with an x or h?....I dunno im not sure about that set up. What if you just had high flow cats with regular axle backs?

I just got a similar setup done still with mufflers today. Straight pipes with GT takeoff mufflers, cats left alone-it sounds awesome. I'll hopefully get a video on here sometime later/tomorrow if I can find something to record it with. I called about 3 or 4 places in town and they all said that there would be no loss by doing straight pipes as opposed to the X or H and that it was more or less a waste of time and I could bring it back if it was an issue (one of them was a place that specializes in racing exhausts) and it sounds pretty good to me. May just seem more powerful but I highly highly doubt I LOST anything.

i dunno, i think that sounds pretty horrible. and who cares if it sounds awesome at idle, if it sounds like **** when u hit the gas lol

also, even at idle i dont think it sounds awesome. i did this on my car, and its just loud, the note is pretty bad, and i could only do it for about 2 weeks before driving like that drove me crazy

my exhaust sounds better than the one in this vid, I have a definite twitch when I hear rice. I go to school with some of the biggest rice boys you ever did see and this setup is nice, the place did a really good job. Like I said, the cats are still on there and I used the GT takeoff mufflers which are pretty much considered the most conservative. Can't wait to get a vid on here, hopefully I'll have one soon.
