Default Resonators

Im trying to get rid of my drone and ive been told that resonators is the way to go. But i was reading about them and it says it makes it quieter. I no thats the point to get rid of the loud *** annoying drone i have, but will it make it quieter on the outside of the car and make it not sound as good?
Sorry if that is confusing i dont know how to explain it...

Default RE: Resonators

resonators cancel out the vibration which causes the drone... anytime you put a restriction in the pipe, it slows the exhaust and quiets it a bit, but it's not too quiet.
