Why would they make a brand new part for a New Edge mustange, that's just silly? If it's not for a S197, I'll eat a baseball cap. I'm not kidding.

I'm with you! I truly believe this link is so new, they have not posted any pictures or technical information.....yet! As soon as they start releasing the '08 Mustang V6's with the Performance Package (or whatever it's called), you will see more details to it.

From what I've heard, the dual exhaust is going to be manufactured by Borla and then packaged/sent out by Ford Racing. They're putting the duals out probably about the same time as their suspension package (for the V6)

I'm just glad they are finally sending some more stuff our way. I'm interested to see what stuff they come out with.

I called Ford Racing yesterday and spoke with a factory rep on the dual system, and as expected he was very coy about what he said he knew. That's ok, that's corporate style for letting the cat out of the bag. He did say though that there will be a system ready for release in about a month. It will be a "complete system." This means a complete system from exhaust manifold back to rear bumper. Complete head pipes with cats and h-pipe, GT style mid-pipes with GT style band clamps connecting the h-pipe to the mid-pipes, and performance mufflers (most likely GT style and sound level) with chrome tips. Cars using this system with most likely have to shed the stock 6-banger bumper cover and put on a GT style bumper cover to handle the dual chrome tips on the mufflers. The suspected price of $664 and change is most likely what the system will sell for - [:'(]The factory rep said to watch the Ford Performance website for availability of the system.
