Got my SCT tunerand adj. shift press. to the highest setting and don't feel much of difference. I hear you guys say that you can chrip the tires from 1-2 and 2-3. I have it on 93 oct. tune, at WOT. and nothing. The tuner is NICE, but don't know why I can't bark'em. What am I doing wrong or can it even do it?

 

Be patient, there are lots of bspeed SCT users here running auto's I have a manual trans so I cant help you with shift pressure settings but I know the tune can light em up....

Quick thought came to me just now...Is your Traction Control on? (basically the computer pushing the brake pedal for you to stabilize wheel spin) if so turn it off and try again....

 

With my B a M a tune@ +25% (max setting)I was chirping 1-2.
I just wanted to see if it would do it. It did.
The 2-3 is my weakest shift. I have reset them all to Doug's settings (0%), except 2-3 which is at +15%.

 

Is increasing the shift pressure to 25% bad for the transmission or u-joints?
And did anyone change the shift speeds or fan temps?

I've been playing around with my tuner a bit but havent even thought about maxing out anything that I wasnt sure about.
Trying to avoid breakage of parts due to not knowing what something did.

 

I don't have trac control and I tried with it at 25%. Oh well, not really worried about it I just wanted to know if I was doing something wrong. thanks
