white wall tires?

RE: white wall tires?
Yep. [:'(]
Somebody on here painted the raised wording "Pirelli - 235/55-17" etc white on their tires, which looked okay, but I don't think a complete whitewall would look good on our cars.
I can't help but picture spanish "ganstas" in bouncing low-riders when I think of a whitewall tire.

RE: white wall tires?
yeah, i painted the white letters on my tires as stated above..it looked good to me. However, it only lasts for a couple of weeks and then turns dark nasty brown. I talked to another guy who did his and had the same results.
So, if you are thinking about "painting" your letters white....DONT. It will look cool for a bit, but wont last.
However, If I can find white letter tires in my size when these wear out, I will be getting them.
FYI... I did a poll on how the white letters did on our cars and the results were 41 thought it looked good, and 29 didnt like it.
