Hey guys how do I know if the 2 GT OEM's are from a manual? I know the autos and manuals have different #'s, what are the #'s like for manuals?
Is it 7849 for manual and 7991 for autos? I dont want to buy the wrong ones > <

Thank you,
Paul
I seriously don't think it matters. I would see no reason at all why there would be 2 different types of mufflers for an automatic or manual.

There is no way that there is a difference. I have an auto one on my manual and it sounds great!

What you say makes a lot of sense but why is there a part number for automatics and another for manuals? I will check the part numbers on my GT take-offs. Either way the single GT take-off I have sounds great. It's been so hot around here that I never drive with the windows. The other day I had the windows open and when I took off I wondered who was making all thet noise then I figured out it was me. Lol.

usually marked on the shipping package. the part numbers are also stamped on the mufflers. I remember this cause I've already changed two sets.

Someone in the GT section said that the manual ones sound more agressive as to the autos.....I think thats total b/s but you never know with the funny things Ford does to us. They probably have different part numbers because they areoff different assembly lines?

I hear that the manuals make slightly more horsepower.

Mine have neither AOA or MAN on them. They have "GOG" then the numbers 2132 and 1319, 2132 is in blue and 1319 is in orange.
