Hey guys has anyone had a rattle/buzz sound coming from the Hurst shifter when you accelerate? And any advise on how to get rid of it?

Never really goes away but you can try a heavier shift ****, taping the two pieces of the shift handle and nylon washers in-between the bolts. Lock-tite is another must. Honestly, the best solution I found was to turn up the stereo.

blue loctite on the 2 allen bolts on the handle will cure that, other than that you shouldnt really hear any rattle, unless your bolts underneath aren't tight.

When I installed mine, I used blue locktite on all the threads, I also used liquid gasket on the handle (where it attaches to the shifter) I also used 2 nuts on the end of the allen head bolts, just to ensure that it wouldn't come lose. No rattle at all. I believe the nut size for those allen bolts are 10-1.0.
