So I finally found a screaming yellow GT rear bumper. My question is: Is all the hardware used for my V6 bumper thats on right now all I need to install the GT bumper? Or do I need more bolts or screws? Anybody have a link for install instructions? Im sure its not that hard even for a person that has no experience.

Hey edgespeeder. I found it in another mustang forum in the parts for sale list. It was Mustangs Source Forums. Can you believe I got it for only $125? I was really lucky cause I've looked at every website there is and none had screaming yellow GT bumper. They had every color but yellow. Come to find out he lived only thirty minutes away so I didn't have to pay $100 or so for shipping. I just met him and picked it up. Really nice guy too. Im just happy I found one so now I can get my dual exhaust. I didn't want to just cut a hole in my bumper for the duals. I wanted a clean look. Although there are a lot of people in the forums that like the look of the cut out bumper instead of the GT bumper cause it gives it an old school look. Everyone has different opinions though.

yup wow thats good, i should've bought it two years ago of newtakeoff when they had the color, i cant believe they stopped our color, they should've kept it, its one of the things that'll keep my from swapping mine for a new one :-)

Exactly I don't know why they stop making our color. I don't think they are making yellow in the near future either. Atleast not 2008. Maybe in 2009 and that will be a new body style..maybe. I will definitely trade mine in for 2009 model if they have it in screaming yellow.

yea thats true, have u seen the model they have on the ford site for this page http://www.allamericanford.net/ at the top, i wonder if that'll be the 2009 model

that looks like the s197 model with gt500 front and a few other appearance mods

Just look in the Appearance Section in this Forum. Detailed instructions are given. With the help of a fellow forum member, I replaced my V6 with a GT front bumper.

And before you ask, I don't know the part numbers.

You can reuse most of the nuts and bolts, but plastic retainers (look like christmas trees) are nearly destroyed when you yank them out.
