Default No Muffler

I just took my magnaflow muffler off my car after having it for a year. I just wanted to see what it would sound like and it sounds pretty good. Its got a nice rumble too it now. Do you think this will give me a improvement in power or decrease?

I wonder if it would decrease your torque?

ive had mine off for about 5 months now
heres a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-687B8SK2dI
ive had no problems with it but i cant tell any power difference with it off
and i did add a flex pipe on it to divert the hot air from the fender to the ground

Will the hot air on the fender have any effects?

I beg to differ. I had mine off to scrape some rust off and paint it and I thought it sounded terribly ricey without a muffler. But then again, I was raised on V8's...just my 2 cents.

ive had mine off for about 6 months now. and soo far no problems. it is faster than a stock 6, ive raced several 6's including one with a tune, axle back, and drop in cai. i have no other mods. the only thing i dont like is when it rains it makes a weird noise due to the water being blown up there and the hot air blowing it back out. over all, i love it.
