HOW DO U GUYS GET U CAI/TUNE
I've got a 2005 mustang and I finally want to install a CAI/TUNE. Do i need to find a shop around my area to get this done or can i get everything shipped and then go to Ford for the install?? Do you guys know of any shops in the northern VA area that will do this? I apologize for my ignorance. What is meant by '91 tune' or '93 tune'?? Thanks.
You can do the install at home, if you can follow directions!. Read the sticky at the top of this section titled:

Personally I am more than impressed with my VMP tunes and would recomend VMP without a problem, http://www.vmptuning.com

CAI with tune done by MM&FF magazine, Oct 06 issue, on STOCK GT, Auto Trans, resulted in .02 sec better in the qtr mile. Proves that your stock intake performs as should. But if you want to go for gas mileage as in my case with CAI., I get 29.8 mpg to and from work with my automatic and w no AC and have 47K on mine. Best is 31.2 with wind behind me. Thought about adding 25% pulley for added mpg, but will have used Mach1 or new GT October 2009 when I retire! Can't wait. Having a replacement CAI produces more sound under the hood to give you the sense it is faster. Reality......keep your stock intake as will not make it any faster if speed is your priority.
