I just installed Corsas on my ride about two weeks ago, and finally got a chance to shoot a couple clips.

They're sure as hell not the cheapest way to go for mufflers on an S197, but worth every last red cent imho. The kick *** when you're stomping it, and have zero (and I mean ZERO) drone on the highway or elsewhere.

Sounds great! Love that whine too, it's louder than the mufflers! I'll think about getting a pair of corsas in the future if I can get a good price on em.

I would recommend getting an H pipe. I know that may reduce your HP but there is just wayy too much rasp here.

No, there isn't. These sound awesome with the x-pipe, and I'm not trading away horsepower in a vain attempt to make a modern V6 sound exactly like an old school V8 (which is not an achievable goal anyway)

Paul, the corsas sound good but now that I'm running straight through pipes it sounds exactly like an old schooldeep throaty V8, and it didn't cost me a cent! Jack

I've heard these cars with straight pipes (including my own briefly) if it works for you, then who am I to argue? On the whole though, that type setup was a little too obnoxious for me (not to mention I live in a state with regular emissions inspections, and "no mufflers" wouldn't fly herefor very long).

I think in general here, the argument is for MUFFLERS, Corsa's are the best sound you are going to get w/o any drone. Sure maybe for you straight pipes sounds good on you 4.0 but in regards to mufflers...Corsas pretty much dominate.

I hate the drone that our cars get its really annoying

my brother has magnaflows on his car, and on acceleartion theyre loud but on cruise, theres no sound at all, its like they shut off and turn on. (the magnapack mufflers on an 04 v6)
