Default electical gremlin

fred hasbeen having a fewintermitant electical problems that have been showing up in the last few months
1)about 6 wks ago my trip meter reset itself to zero 3 days in a row (no problems since)

2)yesterday filled gas tank drove about 18 miles and all of a sudden low fuel light came on and fuel gauge went to empty(1st time that ever happened)after about 2 mile light went out and gauge went back to full (was fine since)

anyone ever experiance such strange things like this with there 2006 stang??and what was the fix if you did?

Was it raining when it happened? Some guys had electrical problems when their cars got wet, the wiring harness was getting wet and reaking havoc. You may want to check previous posts. Got to go, electrical storm!! See ya!

Oldtimer Stanger thinking when fuel light went on- "Fu*k I only get 2mpg now! 18mpg city my ***!This is the costliest carand lastcar I will ever be able to afford! Thank God I didn't get the GT."

I've had things like that happen with my truck before. One time the spedometer didn't register anything for about 5 minutes but nothing was wrong with it at all. I've also had issues with other gauges but I've had it for 6 years now and nothing has ever happened twice. Probably a fluke but if it keeps happening, better safe than sorry.

if you take a hard turn, the gas sensors can get confused with the gas in the tank sloshing around and will do something like that...not to be worried

the first one...i dunno..
