T-Lok Differential and driving in snow
How much will T-Lok and 3.73 gears help in snow ???
I am looking at Ford Racing 3.73 gears and T-Lok differential. Are there any others I should be considering ?
Also, if anybody knows a good shop/dealership to have these installed in the Denver/Fort Collins area of Colorado please let me know.
I have heard a few good things about O'Meara Ford in Northglenn.
Thanks for any info.

The t-lok will be a big help. The gears will probably hurt you with an auto and possibly be no worse with a stick since you can regulate the power to the wheels bettter and have more gears to choose from. If you have traction control that should be a help with the lower gears as well. Put a some snows on and couple hundred pounds in the trunk and it will actually be drivable in pretty bad conditions, just drive carefully!

RE: T-Lok Differential and driving in snow
My short story of driving in the winter! At the age of 13 I learned how to drive in a ford econaline van in the snow & ice with a older friend, he was 18. So I asked my friend can I drive the van, and he said OK! So I get behind the wheel and I gunned it and the van was all over the place in the snow & ice. The van and I ended up on some lady's lawn, getting ready to go intoher home.It was X-mas time and no one was out on the streets. I was one lucky little mother f-er. I'am now 51 and I still drive very fast, but not wild. So you young guys out there, pleasetake it from a olderguy. Please don't f with mother-nature, she would whip your A$$ Please be careful!!!! Thank you for reading my short story! Denny
