thoughts?
as i sat here this afternoon and thought about what i want to do to my car next i got to thinking. i have wanted to make a retro style stang out of my car from the start. and i think i may have screwed up when i put gloss black racing stripes on my car. what do you guys think my car would look like with matte black fang chin spoiler, matte black rousch hood scoop and matte black spoiler. im afraid i should have put matte black stripes on.[sm=feedback.gif]

RE: thoughts?
u no the black on gray look (couldn't tell from the light if that was definitely tungsten or maybe vapor or something) is already pretty retro. However, the glossy stripes would probably not mesh too well with matte black pieces. If you are planning on doing those matte black, i would suggest going with matte black stripes too just so it really ties in well

RE: thoughts?
You could also go with gloss parts... chin spoiler, scoop, and decklid spoiler. They don't have to be matte.
My original intention was to go for a modernized retro look. I think I've done okay so far. I have a tungsten 'Stang with gloss black stripes. I can see that yours is mineral grey... the gloss black looks just fine on it as it is. I wouldn't change them. Just follow up with gloss extras if that's the route you choose to go.

When I see a car with flat blackaccessories, it makes the car look like it has lost it's luster and is need of a good wax job.
