Default All this supercharger talk is making me want to pull out a loan.

I think on Monday, I'm gonna go talk to my bank and pull a loan for 5,000

With that I'll get either the X charger or a Vortech, and then buy some 3.73's and go dual.
Any time frame on the Xcharger's intercooler kit coming out?

Dude, it is not worth it to pull a loan... I am not trying to tell you how to live your life or anything, but if I dont say it I will feel like I did something wrong..

Well, what I'm thinking is pulling the loan, and paying it off in the next 7 months or so. If I get a few thousand in commission on one deal, I'd pay most of it off in the next 3 months...I need to see if I can forego the finance charges if I pay the principal off quickly. Then thecost diff. will be negligible.

That is an option, however from what I have read, the general consensus is that the turbo typically spools in a pretty high rpm, and my v6 is my daily driver. I need a f/i option that will spread the boost through my rpm bands, and the X charger or vortech is a better option. I'm open to suggestions though, currently doing my homework on boost options.

The turbo spools pretty quickly, you will have no problems with that. Everybody who says turbos take long to spool are people who are denying that there is something better than their own setup, or people who are stuck in this "All American Muscle" crap.

You will for sure have more fun with turbos, and you would not regret it. I too wish I saved for a turbo instead of getting a supercharger

I have the auto trans and im worried about the turbo making to much power. This is also a daily driver that spends alot of time in rush hour traffic. what are the power limits of the auto trans ?

If you are not in boost, you will not be putting out extra power, so there is no need to worry about sitting in traffic. The autos seems to be good enough to handel 400rwhp, but that is a ticking time bomb. However, you are only hurting it while you are under full boost. I would stay at about 370rwhp
