14.9 1/4 mile ?
My 06 manual is stock except for ninosport y duals. I have heard and seen on other forums quite a few times that a stock manual can do 14.8 - 14.9 1/4 mile .I'm not sure if this is true for the majority of manuals but I'm doing a comparison from a recent test I saw of a nissan spec v and it does 15.0 1/4 mile 0-60 in 6.6 and 0 - 90 in 13.7 . So 60 to 90 is 7.1 secs. Quite a few times I've tested my car from 60 to 90 and I seem to get a few tenths less at about 6.7 -6.8 so going by this I'm wondering if it's possible my car will do 14.9 ?
Possible but not probable. Stock from the factory with pro's driving it get about 15.3. So unless you have a factory freak or a stong tail wind, I doubt it. Tune it and get CAI you'll be right there.
i've heard rumors about stock 14's and the trap speed has definately been there without the right 60's or the right 60's without the right ET's, but im sure someone has hit it without being on the boards. There have been 15.0's that is for sure. I know some mag ran it and i have seen some posted in other forums, but who knows. The car is capable im sure, but most people don't mod v6's and even when they do, most of them dont take it to the track more than once or twice stock, so its hard to know.
I pull 15.1s@ 93MPH 1/4s with minor mods.
And I mean MINOR MODs.
Got a great flat1/4 mile of nothing out in front of
work. Pull runs every once in a while and its
consistantly 15.1 @ 93 MPH with .53 sec reaction
times. Gotta Ram PU with a hemi that works here.
He keeps up pretty good but I get him off the line
sometimes.
Gotta love the MSDDashHawk. He bought it for
his PU but it didnt work with his OBDII port so
he gave it to me.
Next time I run I will get a pic of the DashHawk
display with the results for you disbelievers.
