Default Custom Intercooler Installed!!

Got my car back from the shop last night. I had a Spearco Intercooler custom fit to my Vortech, and had a smaller pulley put on the unit. Numbers are not final yet because the tune is really really really conservative (10.2 AFR while I am in boost), and they pulley is making 10.5psi instead of 12psi. After all that gets fixed, I will post final numbers. I expect to get about 320rwhp on a Mustang Dyno, which is probably about 340rwhp on a Dyno Jet (what most people use to measure here)

Labor+tubes+hoses+clamps+tune+random costswas $1500 and the intercooler was $600. The regular MaxFlow Cooler is $1800, and with labor and tuning, it would come out to be actually higher lol

Nice! Can't wait to see the real dyno #'s! Is there a huge feeldifference in while driving this set-up(intercooled) at near the same psi as your non-intercooled set-up?

There was a nice power jump already. I jumped 40rwhp on the Mustang Dyno from my last setup, and I am not sure how much torque. Also, because the small pulley, it gets the power pretty quickly. It freaked me out when I first hit the gas from a roll from about 10mph....broke the rear end totally lose lol. I am not sure how much cooler it is running, because I was not there while tuning, but I do know that after a 30 minute drive the silicone hose connecting to the throttlewas barely warm, and with the previous setup, it would be really really hot.

The tune on this setup is really unaggressive, so hopefully I can get ~25rwhp just out of a more aggressive tune. My next dyno will include the new TB also, so hopefully my next dyno will read about 35rwhp over my current one. It should be happening within the next month...

Cool! Is your pulley a 12psi pulley than just tuned to 10.5psi? How does that work like that?
