It's one of 3 things:
1. Traction Control
2. Switching gears ex:1-2 2-3 etc.
3. Dropping Gears for faster acceleration ex. 3-1 3-2 ect.
Mine did the jerk all the time switching gears before I got a tuner. Tightened my shifts with the tuner and now it's a lot better.

Yeah, you'll be surprised how quick "Turn the key, hit the TCS button" becomes automatic.

I do it everytime these days without even thinking about it.

I thought there might be a problem with the fuel line of something.
It seems like it loses power and then all of a sudden regains it and
then takes off. Will definately be trying that tonight.
From what you described it's definitly the TCS.
That doesn't sound like the TCS to me. That description fits the dreaded "throttle lag" - my car used to do that too until I had it tuned and got rid of it. I have TCS and it reacts differently from that description, and TCS doesn't kick in as easily as Theresa describes.

I agree with JimC too on this one. Maybe a tune or the fuel pump...just a few guess but he might be on to something. Theresa did turning the TCS help or is it still doing it?

I took it out last night to get some dinner and really couldn't get on it TOO much.
Theroads were wet and it was a little misty on the way back.
I did turn the Traction Control off and hit it a couple of times.
First time - no jerk
Tried it a second time....no jerk.
Turned the TCS back on.....hit it.....no jerk. ( ? )
Off again - no jerk,
On again - jerk
I am 75 percent sure itmay bethe traction control.
I'll be able to try it a little more when all this rain ends.
Kinda nerve racking turning off the TCS and flooring it on rainy streets.
Not to mention... I don'twant tosee those blue lights in my mirror !!

the tcs goes on pretty much if you hear your tires screach, so if that happens and then you jerk, its probably the tcs.
