Default cooler air

Has anyone else noticed that with the cooler weather that engine performance seems a bit better than it did in the summer ? it even sounds better. And though it's not a good idea cold start up is tempting to mash the throttle

Yes i have noticed that, but it takes FOREVER to warm the car up so you can push her allittle! Do any of you guys know how many miles your supposed to put on new gears before you can actually push the car!?

Probably not in the summer , but now I would almost bet that with the cooler air that my stock manual except for the duals may be able to do high 14.s .

On the gears! Some people say 500 miles will do it, and some people say three heating cycles.(i did the 500 and everything is ok with mine!) The three cycles is something like, run the car for a few minutes than let the rear cool down and then do that two more times. If im off on this than someone will ring-in -Denny

Ive noticed that it revs a lot faster and produces a noticable sort of whine in the high rpmswhen the weathers colder. Now if I could only fix that little side effect of snow I'd be set...
