Haven't been on here in a lonnngg time.. probably 4 months or so.. just wanted to see if anything new and groundbreaking has come out? Did that one company ever release the manual shifting transmission for the ATs? New bodykits/performance upgrades?


Oh, and is anyone familiar with a store or anywhere that a GT500 body kit can be purchased at?

Um yep, Buckman ran a 11.01 with Zex and PH turbo before blowing up his motor and he is doing a 5.4 swap. Rygen ran a 10.9 with his car and blew it up and he is going with a 5.4 swap. Scrmin sold his car, Boss 244 became the first private owner to run a 13.8 in a NA 4.0. JimC is running a 14.6 with NA V6.
The Bullitt was released by Ford, Roush has a P51 version of the mustang and Saleen is putting a S/C on a 302. Ford has released preformance parts for the V6 and a new styling package is on the way.
Oh you can buy the GT500 kit from your local Ford dealer....check back every 2 months from now on.

WMS recently released a ram air set up for the 4.0L that looks interesting. There are more choices for clutches and lightweight flywheels now. Look for a NA 4.0L with PH heads & cams who will be gunning for 12 sec ET's next season! (not me)

here's something new......some guy on the forums pulled off his intake and muffs and now has a super fast stang. its absolutely revolutionary!

Yea, that would be Ranebowcyxx. He also has a new best of 12.0x with just 10lbs of boost with his Procharger, PH heads and cams.

Armycook got an 11.4 with is built turbo'd 4.0. He has some issues though, will let him brief you all on that.

Lances (buckman) went that ET on the stock block!!! And his MPH screamed 10's with better conditions.

Also, Supernatural Performance has a nice aggressive stall for the 4.0 5r55 auto (3000-3200). Navbtcret tested it and got 2-3 10ths off his ET's with it.

New fastest for the Xcharger, 13.03 and thats non-intercooled. Once the intercooled version comes out, say hellow to deep 12's.

And for the record, I didn't blow up my car when I cracked 10's. I blew it 3 track visits later, running consistant 11.1's. Looks like a rod failure, I was still on the stock rods with the built block. I was running (DJ conversion from the PH MD) around 535rwhp and 600rwtq. Not sure what specifically failed on the rods, just know one punched a hole through the block. ****!

Fitbikeco has a new best of 14.4@95. And with a pretty slim mod list, damn impressive.

Scrming bought a motorcycle as well to compliment the Hummer. Though rumor has it hes not done with the sports car hobby just yet, according to some sources.

Not sure what else. Oh, theres now supra tech threads in the 4.0 section here as well. So we are more open minded now.

here's another one. apparently, you go faster if you only drive downhill. also, you can go faster if theirs no traffic. i haven't tried this yet.
